Case Study: Pilestone Africa
The Project Details
Website design
Katie Williams of Pilestone Africa, reached out to get her website in shape. She not only wanted cosmetic changes but also needed help with her copy and also wanted to add a chatbot to the site.
The challenge? It had to happen fast!
Katie needed her website sorted out ASAP as she was about to do a radio interview and was expecting a lot of traffic heading to her site. Oh, and she had 3 days till the radio interview!
Pilestone’s goal is to change the lives of as many people as possible who suffer from colour blindness.
In 2020 Katie Williams saw the need to bring these incredible glasses to Africa, starting Pilestone Africa, allowing colour-blind South Africans to experience this gift of colour.
On the initial call I had with Katie, she mentioned that she had a problem with customers returning glasses as they often bought the wrong type for their kind of colour blindness.
In order to prevent this from happening I added a very clearly outlined 3-step process for people to follow to ensure they purchased the correct glasses. I then added this process to the home page as well as the shop page to ensure that it was followed.
“WOW, what a pleasure.
Lisa is a professional and a pure master of her trade. She made the redesign of my website effortless. With little guidance she managed to surpass my expectations, making my website look nicer than I could have ever imagined. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa for any website job you may require. Thank you, Lisa and Setup Sidekick.”
